The Ministry of Finance is inviting all stakeholders, including Business and Trade Associations, Professional Bodies, Trade Unions, NGOs and Civil Society Organisations, and the public at large to submit their specific proposals for consideration in the context of the preparation of the National Budget 2026-2027.
With the economy and inclusivity at centre stage, the Budget will focus on boosting GDP growth potential, raising productivity and competitiveness, creating quality jobs, and improving living standards for all Mauritians, while strengthening climate resilience, and restoring sound public finances.
Proposals should be submitted to the Financial Secretary, Minister of Finance, at latest by Tuesday 24 March 2026 as follows:
- to the Secretariat of the Financial Secretary, Government House, Port Louis;
- through e-mail: prebudget@govmu.org; or
- through the online platform: www.mauritiusbudget.com.
